My ripple blanket progress

my ripple progress yesterday

After a week of working on my crochet ripple blanket, I have completed 14 bands of colour, which is nearly two pattern repeats. I’m enjoying working on it; I take it with me when I go out on weekends, just in case I can get a spot of crochet done!

ripple blanket to go

I think it will be a metre or so long. It is already getting warm under there when I am working on it! I felt particularly cosy on the weekend when I spent some time with Georgie – she was knitting and I was crocheting my blanket. We listened to classical music and it was the most relaxed I have been in a while! That’s got to be a win!

My blanket makes me happy. Happy is good!

Hi, I popped on by following along other ripplee’s progress from Mels blog, you are clever making this with a variegated yarn selection, I think that would make it quite tricky for me :) I do like Variegated but settled on plain colours for my first ripple. :)
