I love the simple things about Christmas, like decorating gingerbread biscuits with my children. It not only reminded me of my childhood, when decorating the biscuits was family tradition, but it got the children’s imaginations running wild. We had a lovely time. This christmas, I’m so grateful to have my three children celebrating with me.

I must be entertaining. At least, my children seem to think so! They lined up in the kitchen and watched me make shortbread biscuits… They even helped a bit! I’m so very proud of my greatest admirers! The biscuits turned out pretty well. For dessert, Georgie and Matthew had shortbread, ice-cream, strawberries and raspberries!
