Fabric Friday: vintage gown

My mum showed me this gown that my nana had when mum was growing up. It’s a divine gown, long, with a split up to the knee.

The fabric is divine and the style of the gown so classic and elegant. Classy. I am enjoying envisioning my glamourous nana, dressed up, with hair coiffed and lipstick on, to go to a dinner, dance, ball or the theatre. She loved to go to the theatre. She took great care in her appearance, always taking pride in how she presented herself.

I miss my nana. I miss her so much. She was one of my most favourite people. She has been one of the most influential people in my life. I have been blessed with my relationship with her and I continue to be blessed because of what I have been through with her.
