It’s not a lot, but it’s enough to bring down the grocery bill. We have a lot of food growing (soon the potatoes will be ready) and I feel pleased to be surrounded by things we have grown.

These pumpkins will sit here until they’re eaten – I plan to make a soup next weekend

This cow is getting slaughtered tomorrow and will provide us with plenty of good meat for quite a while (we’re getting new freezer this week so we can store it)
