Handy celery tip from Gordon

Published by Rebecca on November 7, 2011

I’ve got lots of ideas for posts, but the truth is, I’m feeling pressed for time. If you asked me what I’m doing, I’d say: looking after my family, teaching and housework. On top of that, I’m trying to participate in NaNoWriMo this year, which has me writing for a bit each day to try to get a novel written (chuckle). On top of that, i really need to get sewing/baking/shopping for Christmas… No no, please don’t think I’m having a whinge. I’m just making excuses for not blogging.

During our recent holiday in lovely Adelaide, we stayed with Gordon and Maxine, who cherished us and looked after us so kindly. In their fridge, Sits a jug of celery. The celery sits in water, to keep it nice and fresh and crispy.

The thing is, I’m wanting to make it extra easy for our children to help themselves to healthy snacks. This tip has Georgia snacking away extra healthily: we open our fridge and voila! Snack size, fresh and crispy celery!
