Easter 2010

We had a great Easter. Thankfully the children did not wake up too early. We don’t put much emphasis on the Easter bunny etc, but they knew an egg hunt was in store. It was fun – egg hunts are always fun! We had other presents, like bunnies from nanny and gramps, and fans from grandma and poppa. We gave the kids an egg each and a popcorn maker. Surprisingly, not too much chocolate was devoured on the day, and eggs and bunnies still remain intact over a week after the big day.

Breakfast was hot cross buns at the dining room table, which was bathed in sunlight, and very pleasant. After breakfast we went outside, where we all had a play with the remote controlled helicopter. I am proud to say that I am the only one who almost crashed it onto the roof.

The afternoon was spent with a drive to Kingston, where we picked up some supplies (house stuff, groceries, and a new dressing gown for Georgia because the children wore the same gowns last Easter!).
