“We had a great time day celebrating my 2nd birthday! Our friends came over and we had a lovely time, playing and eating! I ate a lot of bickies and cake and chips. We all walked up to the house site too. Everybody liked to see where our house is going to be. When mummy told Evie where Georgie’s room is going to be, she said, “what? in the mud?” but one day we will have a house there so it won’t be so muddy! We got muddy today! Luckily, on the invitation, mummy told the kids to wear gumboots!

“Mummy and daddy made me a treasure chest cake, which was really yummy. It was covered in lollies! I couldn’t wait for the cake because I had bee wanting it all day, so I just started eating it. Then everybody came and sang “Happy Birthday” to me and my friends helped me blow out the candles because I am too short to reach on the table. My friend Evie gave me a lawn mower and my friends Tao and Kai gave me pjs and a toy crocodile! Milly and Harry gave me a ball and a toy pony and a packet of toy cars! Mummy and Daddy’s friends, Miranda and PJ came too. They gave me two Thomas toy trains! I love them! [I had to cuddle them when Daddy put me to bed because I couldn’t sleep without them!]

“We stayed up very late because our friends also stayed and had some dinner. They left at 9pm! Us kids had scrambled eggs and toast that mummy made. I wasn’t hungry so I just dropped my toast on the floorand Georgie ate my eggs. I watched “Ratatouille” with Tao and Kai and Georgia. Mummy made a vege curry and the adults sat in the lounge room and ate curry off paper plates while we watched the movie. Then I had a big cuddle wiht my mummy. I fell asleep as soon as Daddy put me to bed because I had a lovely day.
