We are having a great time in Adelaide. We are busy and we are happy and we are enjoying spending time with our friends and family, especially the Gouldings, whose hospitality is second to none!

Highlights so far have been: seeing friends and family; enjoying a slightly warmer climate; and living in a big house for a while! I have loved seeing my friends again, and it has been wonderful to catch up with parents and siblings. The thing that stands out to me is how rapidly children grow and how much they change – even in just 6 months!

The things I don’t like about Adelaide are: the tap water tastes disgusting and the roads are busy!We are missing Monte but I gather that he is getting lots done (as well as getting some rest, no doubt) while we are absent. I have learned to enjoy the ‘single’ parent thing, being in charge of feeding, bedtime routine, night wakenings and early mornings! I am looking forward to Monte being around though!

I am looking forward to being back on the property and all the rest that goes with living in the south of that lovely state!
