Yesterday Monte’s god mother and Gordon’s cousin, Janice, came to visit us with her daughter Gayle and two of their friends. They are holidaying in Tasmania and they are thoroughly enjoying it!

It was lovely to see Janice again and I think she loved seeing how much the children had grown up since she last saw them. Georgia and Matty were both clingy so I spent the afternoon with two children on my lap. Nevertheless, it was a special, lovely time to reunite with family and meet new friends.

It was warm and cosy in the cabin and we enjoyed muffins and tea. Everybody seemed impressed with our little plot of hilly paradise; the view was admired by all. Even our little cabin was referred to as ‘great’ and ‘excellent,’ and fortunately Janice said that she could report only positives back to Gordon, although I think that the puppy, Lucy, was annoying for her jumping and bounding about.
