I have been bursting to sew myself a new skirt. It needs to be a heavy weight fabric and it needs to be made with wintry colours. I am going to make a simple skirt. I will. Once I have given this purple fabric (‘vintage dreaming’ cotton drill from spotlight) a wash and an iron.

I will wear this skirt with a black turtle neck, black leggings and black boots. If I had purple boots, I would wear them instead. I have a purple scarf to top off the outfit. I’ll wear my black trench coat if I wear this outfit to work and I will wear my denim jacket if I wear this out to go shopping or whatever.
