Easter 2011

Published by Rebecca on May 8, 2011

What a wonderful Easter we have had. We spent most of the time with friends. On Saturday we went to our friends’ house for an Easter egg hunt. There were lots of children, who all played beautifully, and there was lots of delicious food (breakfast pizzas! Hello!). The children also made their own bunny ears for the event. Everybody really enjoyed the morning and the kids especially enjoyed the egg hunt, for which they had to follow directions as they were read to them (they even rhymed!).

The egg hunt begins in the beautifully romantic pixie dell, with a keen Evie and equally keen Georgia

On Sunday we woke early and had an Easter egg hunt. After church, where the children made hot cross buns and had another egg hunt, we went to visit our friends in Kingston. We had a beautiful lunch and yet another egg hunt!

That's Matthew for you... digging straight into the eggs for breakfast!

A lovely Tassie Easter. I keep saying that my favourite time of the year here is Autumn. I love the low light, the blue skies and the misty cold mornings. I love it that we are still getting tomatoes ripening on the vine, although the zucchinis are really slowing down now.
