Ok, so most people might know these as yum yum balls, rum balls or even truffles.

At Fangorn farm we call the reindeer poop. Some cheeky children even roll them into turd-like shapes for that extra giggle factor [eye-roll].
These are really easy and quick to make, especially if you have a food processor/blender to make the biscuit crumbs. Children love to roll them and they are a fun little recipe to make in the lead up to Christmas. Our children have gifted these before; they look nice presented in a cellophane bag or a little Christmas dish.

And they’re yummy…

And addictive!

1 pkt Marie biscuits, or any sweet, dry biscuit that you like to use for biscuit base.

1 cup dessicated coconut

2/3 cup cocoa

1 tin (375ml) sweetened condensed milk

Blend biscuits until they form fine crumbs

Mix all ingredients together

With wet hands, roll tsps of into balls, then roll balls in coconut to cover

Leave in a container in the fridge to set

Add 1 tsp essence to your mixture eg. Rum, peppermint, strawberry etc

Include chunks of lollies in your mixture (Matthew suggests chunks of carrot, just for that extra poop look [boys!!]

Roll balls in rainbow or chocolate sprinkles, coloured coconut or crushed candy canes.

Stack balls of varying sizes to make characters like snowmen

Have fun with your reindeer poop!

Merry Christmas xx
