30/9/12: a day out with the family for lunch and shopping, topped off by catching up with friends – a very good day!
29/9/12: I sat with Matthew for ages this afternoon. We chatted and played with his meccano. We made this robot, putting our ideas together to do good teamwork! Yeah!
28/9/12: driving home from school and work with my children. Laughing and chatting.
27/9/12: such a hot day today. Must have been over 20 degrees. We had our first icy poles for the season.
26/9/12: today I went to Launceston with some work colleagues for a conference. I left home at 4:45am and got home at 6:45pm. Crazy isn’t it. The highlight was coming home to Elora, who ran to the door, flinging her arms around me and exclaiming: “Mummy! Mummy! Mummy’s home!” but I only managed to take a photo of these macarons at the Hotel.
25/9/12: Whilst the children were playing outside with Monte, who was cooking dinner on the BBQ, I listened to my music loudly as I worked in the kitchen. I thought of my babies when singing along to Aerosmith’s ‘I don’t want to miss a thing’ and I thought of my love when I was singing out of tune to Def Leppard’s ‘Love Bites.’ I know I’m a dag.
24/9/12: evening cuddles with Georgia, who read us some of her novel when the other children were fast asleep.
