I’m a bit out of fabric shopping practise. I haven’t been looking for fabrics since my Adelaide holiday visit last month. My sewing machine sits pretty in my nook with its cover on firm and tight. It might even be a wee bit dusty!
So today I’m sharing these pre-sewn fabric cushion covers from Ikea. The colours of red, pink, blue and green appeal to me. So do the florals. They have bound hems at the back and tailored borders. Nice.
Currently the cushions (size 50cm sq) sit fluffy and welcoming on our couches in the living room. Red is the colour I am leaning towards, and I am focussing my (enormous) shopping energy on red!
I could easily have made these lovely cushions, but at $7-$8 each, why trouble myself? Here I basque in the comfy glow of soft cushions (I bought the inserts from Spotlight for $5 each).
