20/10/2010: Georgia is Seven!

We are so proud of our beautiful daughter. The past seven years have been wonderful, as we have witnessed our firstborn blossom and grow into an angelic, confident, beautiful little girl.

Georgia was just 4 years old when we moved to Tasmania. She loves it here. She loves living in the country, with all the adventures it has to offer. She loves school, she loves Girl Guides and she loves her family. Just recently, Georgia said that the day when she walked around the property with Gramps was the best day of her entire life. Her heart is big and beautiful and I burst with pride when she smiles.

We celebrated her birthday with presents in the morning. She received phone calls from her grandparents and her Adelaide friend, Frances. She was very excited and spent the school day at Athletics Carnival!

After school we had birthday cake: a rainbow marble cake with rainbow sprinkles made by a happy and proud mother.

Happy 7th Birthday, Georgia!! Birthday cake after school.

Cutting the cake (nice big slices, of course)

Dessert at the Lady Franklin for her birthday dinner

On the following weekend, we had a party for Georgia with a few of her school friends at the Fun Factory. The kids had a great time in the indoor playground and we made a big cake, which was delicious! Georgia had a great time at her party; thanks to all those who came along!

“Happy birthday to you!” – at her party

You can see that Georgia had a lovely happy time at her party. Such a lovely, loving girl I do not know. I am so grateful that Georgia is ours.

Happy birthday, sweetheart!
