I help with Georgia’s kindergarten on Thursday mornings and this morning, at the teachers’ suggestions, I brought Matthew along with me!

He was very well behaved. He played with play dough and he drew pictures, played in the home corner (mostly with the telephone: “Hello…Bye”) and he even ran about with the students when they were doing some activities.

I loved it when he sat outside for ‘Little Lunch,’ next to Georgia, with the other children. He blended in beautifully, and Georgia loved having her little brother in for the morning.

Georgia was awarded “Star of the Week” because her teacher noticed how caring she was towards Matthew, and how she was a good helper as she looked after him so nicely!

I had a fun morning too! I love being in a classroom and working with children, and I really love doing the cutting and pasting and creative stuff that I get to do in the kinder room. It sometimes makes me wonder about whether I would ever venture into primary education.
